Advisory Committees

The Board of Trustees appoints some members of these committees, while others are appointed by the District Executive and the Program Consultant.These committees meet on an ad hoc basis when there is a task to be accomplished.

COMMUNICATIONS ADVISORY
Publishes the Netwuurk, advises District staff, maintains an electronic communications network among the congregations and committees, provides a website for the District, and fosters other forms of communication.


DISTRICT EXECUTIVE ADVISORY
Provides focus, alternative perspectives and analyses for issues of concern to the District Executive, including personal well-being and professional interpersonal relations. In addition, the committee acts as a sounding board for any other issues the District Executive feels the need to explore. The committee is also a conduit to the constituency of the PSWD for matters pertaining to the District Executive.


FINANCIAL ADVISORY
Advises District staff on financial management issues to ensure the financial health of the District.


DIRECTOR OF LIFESPAN PROGRAMS ADVISORY
